Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, Luís Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gouveia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SC Amioso getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gabriel Castro hit a great ball. David Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Pacheco in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Amioso's David Ramos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Xavier Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. David Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Gouveia FC's Luís Barros made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Amioso getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vicente Reis hit a great ball. Eduardo Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Alfredo Neto made a huge save. After 33 played minutes SC Amioso got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Reis. David Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, SC Amioso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Reis to maneuver through the defense. Luís Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Branco having to make a save. In the 44th minute, Vicente Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Gouveia FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lúcio Branco to make the kick off. Alfredo Neto came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Amioso's Eduardo Garcia. But to his dismay, Eduardo Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Eduardo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Neto having to interfere. Alfredo Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Xavier Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. David Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Xavier Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gouveia FC's Alfredo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Garcia in the 79th minute of play. If Xavier Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alfredo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gouveia FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
