Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horácio Barros started the match with the kick off. Gustavo Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Jesus having to make a save. In the 14th match minute, Escarei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Veiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, José Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Rogério Baía got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Rogério Baía managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Frazão's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Baía was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Borges hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. F.C. Frazão's Horácio Barros managed to work through Escarei's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Horácio Barros dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Rogério Baía sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, F.C. Frazão's Horácio Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Jesus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Zeferino Estrela fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Frazão's protests and gave Zeferino Estrela a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Zeferino Estrela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes F.C. Frazão got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Vilarinho. Teodoro Caneira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Domingos Jesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Baía in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Taborda during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sérgio Pereira was the one to do the kick off. Sérgio Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Caneira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute, Sérgio Pereira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teodoro Caneira, passed just outside the right post. Domingos Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Taborda's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Horácio Barros made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Jesus. Escarei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sérgio Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Caneira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Veiga in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes, Norberto Vilarinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Frazão and the Escarei players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes F.C. Frazão got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Vilarinho. Teodoro Caneira made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gustavo Melo sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Escarei's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Barros came free, but Domingos Jesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
