Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Madalena FC's Alfredo Palha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vítor Setúbal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octávio Bernardes in the 4th minute. Murilo Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murilo Queirós came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Afurada's Carlos Assis. But to his dismay, Carlos Assis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Octávio Bernardes came free in the 12th minute and tried to tip the ball over Vítor Setúbal, but to the joy of SC Afurada's supporters the ball went over. When Madalena FC's Alfredo Palha in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Afurada's goalie prevented a goal. Murilo Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Araújo in the 15th minute of play. Murilo Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Araújo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Murilo Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Gonçalves in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Jorge Leiria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murilo Queirós skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Magalhães in the 31st minute of play forced Madalena FC's goalkeeper Murilo Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-3 became the score in the 33rd minute when David Magalhães elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, SC Afurada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Murilo Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Magalhães in the 43rd minute of the match. António Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Murilo Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Madalena FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Afurada were winning 0-3.

52 minutes into the game, Nuno Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Afurada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madalena FC the free kick. Nuno Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, António Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Setúbal came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Madalena FC's Octávio Bernardes. But to his dismay, Octávio Bernardes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Nuno Araújo got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. SC Afurada's Vítor Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Palha in the 71st minute of play. Vítor Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Palha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Madalena FC's zone, António Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Queirós came out of the goal and António Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octávio Bernardes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vítor Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ivan Caeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madalena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Caeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octávio Bernardes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Setúbal having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Madalena FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Magalhães came free, but Murilo Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Madalena FC's Murilo Queirós got control of the ball when António Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th minute, Octávio Bernardes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Setúbal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The SC Afurada players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
