In the 7th match minute, Abunheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Lourenço Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tremocais's goalkeeper Alberto Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Abunheira's Carlos Gueifão got control of the ball when João Moniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lourenço Martins to make the kick off. If Lourenço Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lourenço Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, João Moniz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Abunheira's Carlos Gueifão. Tremocais's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Joaquim Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abunheira's protests and gave Joaquim Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Joaquim Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes, Rafael Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abunheira and the Tremocais players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Abunheira's Rafael Martins got a free kick in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tremocais had won after a very even match.
