Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Egídio Leme started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Calharis's goalkeeper Daniel Poças had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Cunha. 4 minutes into the match, Calharis's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Martins came free, but Daniel Poças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match, Paulo Cunha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Poças was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Zeferino Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th play minute Paulo Cunha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniel Poças. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Leite during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, one of Abunheira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abunheira. 19 minutes into the game, one of Abunheira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute Cláudio Azeredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Gueifão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cláudio Azeredo went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Valter Fontoura kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Abunheira got a corner. Calharis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mário Leite ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Rogério Mota heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Daniel Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Martins in the 36th minute of play. Paulo Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Daniel Poças made a huge save. Duarte Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duarte Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Duarte Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Egídio Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gueifão having to interfere.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Martins in the 51st minute of play forced Calharis's goalkeeper Daniel Poças to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Cunha in the 66th minute of the match. Zeferino Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeferino Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Abunheira booed when Calharis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeferino Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, one of Calharis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calharis. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Abunheira. Mário Leite stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Poças. 2-3. Paulo Cunha struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Daniel Poças didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abunheira. Paulo Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Poças read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. With a little luck, Abunheira's Carlos Gueifão got control of the ball when Cláudio Azeredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
