Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Pomarao's Jacinto Soeiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Linharelhos FC got a freekick which was hit by João Brás. Jacinto Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Tomás Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pomarao. In the 7th minute, Rui Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Távora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Assunção in the 8th minute of the match. Jacinto Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th match minute, SC Pomarao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Trindade to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Xavier Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Távora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavier Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Távora having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Linharelhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Assunção to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Balsemão, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Linharelhos FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marco Vale hit a great ball. If Cláudio Balsemão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Balsemão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Dias struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Isidoro Távora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linharelhos FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavier Assunção stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Augusto Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, SC Pomarao's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Dias came free, but Isidoro Távora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes SC Pomarao got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Cerqueira. In the 56th minute, Xavier Assunção ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Távora was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tomás Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio Balsemão in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Xavier Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Távora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, Linharelhos FC's Rui Dias made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Távora was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Távora having to interfere. Xavier Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Isidoro Távora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Augusto Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Távora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Dias in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Assunção in the 77th minute of play forced SC Pomarao's goalkeeper Isidoro Távora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, SC Pomarao's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Assunção came free, but Isidoro Távora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Pomarao's Viriato Cerqueira got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Tomás Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Soeiro in the 96th minute of the match. Linharelhos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Pomarao for a fine match.
