Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teófilo Machado started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Dias in the 4th minute of play forced Lusotugas SC's goalkeeper Joaquim Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Assunção's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Rui Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Guimarães having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Dias in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquim Guimarães saved Lusotugas SC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Murilo Figueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lusotugas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Figueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teófilo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tomás Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linharelhos FC's Tomás Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teófilo Machado in the 15th minute of play. If Teófilo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joaquim Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Assunção in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipe Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Assunção in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquim Guimarães saved Lusotugas SC from getting behind. When Rui Dias came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Linharelhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Dias couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Assunção in the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Murilo Figueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Murilo Figueira fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lusotugas SC's protests and gave Murilo Figueira a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Linharelhos FC's Rui Dias got a free kick in the 54th minute. Joaquim Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Dias in the 57th minute. A collision led to Linharelhos FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hélder Andrade hit a great ball. Xavier Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavier Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Guimarães having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Rui Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Assunção blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim Guimarães having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Lusotugas SC's zone, Nuno Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Guimarães came out of the goal and Nuno Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Xavier Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linharelhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute of the match Linharelhos FC got a corner. Lusotugas SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in João Santos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lusotugas SC's Joaquim Guimarães did a great save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lusotugas SC were victorious despite being under pressure from Linharelhos FC for much of the match.
