Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Nogueira's Cândido Antunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, João Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tomás Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Linharelhos FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. João Brás hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Linharelhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Vale. 23 minutes into the match, Xavier Assunção had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basílio Lima. SC Nogueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavier Assunção was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Basílio Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Dias went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute João Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes in the game, Cândido Antunes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tomás Fernandes having to interfere. João Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Nogueira getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alfredo Ramos hit a great ball. In the 44th match minute, Linharelhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Vieira in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Rui Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Linharelhos FC's goalkeeper Tomás Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Simões. The SC Nogueira players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Linharelhos FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xavier Assunção was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Simões in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cândido Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Fernandes having to interfere. Basílio Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Assunção in the 62nd minute of play. Rui Dias might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basílio Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Dias ran back to his position shaking his head. Linharelhos FC's Xavier Assunção got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, João Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rui Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Nogueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, SC Nogueira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rui Dias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Cândido Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute of the match Catarino Trindade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cândido Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Fernandes having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, SC Nogueira's Cândido Antunes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cândido Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tomás Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
