The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Ricardo Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filipe Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Renato Montenegro made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Belém stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 played minutes Cavadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Rangel. Renato Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Cavadas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
