Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Azevedo made the kick off and thus started the match. Duarte Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Pacheco in the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Diogo Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leiao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Garcia having to interfere. Ricardo Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lourenço Delgado during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lourenço Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Padescas's Duarte Nunes threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaime Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Filipe Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Pacheco's late challenge caught a Leiao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Pacheco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leiao booed when Padescas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lourenço Delgado got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Lourenço Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Padescas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Assis to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Guerreiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emílio Garcia. Padescas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filipe Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Filipe Amorim notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Padescas's Emílio Garcia. Emílio Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the match, Padescas's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Amorim came free, but Emílio Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Padescas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Assis to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute André Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Leiao getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tiago Figueiredo hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Padescas's Paulo Macedo in action when he in the 55th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Duarte Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Figueiredo in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Leiao booed when Padescas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Amorim in the 65th minute of play forced Padescas's goalkeeper Emílio Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Filipe Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, Padescas's Artur Figueiredo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Leiao's Miguel Guerreiro got a free kick in the 81st minute. Padescas's Emílio Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Amorim in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Padescas's zone, Ricardo Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Garcia came out of the goal and Ricardo Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Filipe Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Padescas's zone, Diogo Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Garcia came out of the goal and Diogo Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leiao's Filipe Amorim in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Padescas's goalie prevented a goal. Artur Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Padescas got a freekick which was hit by Simão Assis. Filipe Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emílio Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leiao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
