Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afonso Torres got the match started through his kick off. Joaquim Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Delfim Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Armindo Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Anjos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armindo Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. Afonso Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Anjos having to make a save. Delfim Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Lauaxeta went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Armindo Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Anjos having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Santos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Torres came free, but Marco Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SC Alfaiao booed when Santos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armindo Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armindo Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, SC Alfaiao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Soares to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alejo Lauaxeta made the kick off in the second half. Marco Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Matos having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Alejo Lauaxeta lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Delfim Matos. After a rather tough play, SC Alfaiao's Joaquim Dantas got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alejo Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Lauaxeta in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gustavo Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91stth minute of the game Alejo Lauaxeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Alfaiao's Delfim Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alejo Lauaxeta in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Delfim Matos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 96 minutes into the match, Santos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Paredes came free, but Marco Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos F.C played a much better game than SC Alfaiao and deserved their victory. The SC Alfaiao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
