Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Almeida started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Bezerreira's Alex Carrasqueira got control of the ball when Eusébio Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Moura fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moncarapacho's protests and gave Carlos Moura a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Moncarapacho getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Carlos Moura hit a great ball. Carlos Moura struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Alex Carrasqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moncarapacho. Elias Serpa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Moncarapacho's Gabriel Nogueira tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bezerreira's Elias Serpa got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes Moncarapacho got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Moura. In the 25thth minute of the game Ivan Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moncarapacho's Joaquim Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Óscar Magalhães's late challenge caught a Bezerreira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Óscar Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. Óscar Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Bezerreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Serpa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bezerreira's zone, João Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Carrasqueira came out of the goal and João Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moncarapacho's Óscar Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Barros struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Alex Carrasqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moncarapacho. João Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Carrasqueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Eusébio Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Carrasqueira having to make a save. João Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Carrasqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Alex Carrasqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Carrasqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When João Barros came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Moncarapacho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Barros couldn't finish the play. Moncarapacho's Joaquim Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Pegado in the 63rd minute of play. Eusébio Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alex Carrasqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Eusébio Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moncarapacho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very nice done corner allowed Joaquim Ribeiro to score against Alex Carrasqueira in Bezerreira's goal. 1-1 after 84 minutes. Despite being the better team, Moncarapacho failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
