After the first half SC Gemeos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Ramos made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Ramos took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hildeberto Caiado. Hildeberto Caiado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 60 minutes into the game, Tiago Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Gemeos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noxus the free kick. After 60 played minutes SC Gemeos got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Domingues. Manuel Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Viveiros lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for SC Gemeos. Álvaro Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Soveral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Ferreira having to interfere. Valentim Durães struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Álvaro Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noxus. When Caetano Valente came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Noxus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Valente couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Noxus's Hildeberto Caiado got control of the ball when Manuel Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Esteves got free with Hildeberto Caiado in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
