Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bente FC's Emílio Lameiras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raul Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Mascarenhas having to interfere. Matias Mascarenhas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Leiria went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Emílio Lameiras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Lamego in the 16th minute of play. Praca's António Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Lameiras in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Álvaro Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Mascarenhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Emílio Lameiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Raul Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Matias Mascarenhas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Raul Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Praca's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Mascarenhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Álvaro Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Quintino Lamego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. António Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Praca's goalkeeper António Ferro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Melo in the 60th minute of play forced Bente FC's goalkeeper Matias Mascarenhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Mascarenhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bente FC! Álvaro Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Mascarenhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Matias Mascarenhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Cardoso in the 73rd minute of the match. Emílio Lameiras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. António Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emílio Lameiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bente FC's Quintino Lamego got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Álvaro Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Raul Leiria notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bente FC's Matias Mascarenhas. Matias Mascarenhas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bente FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
