Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nélson Linhares kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Almeida got free with Gabriel Castanheira in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Malhadas booed when SC Amieira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octávio Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ricardo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Castanheira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Almeida in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Amieira's zone, Ricardo Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Castanheira came out of the goal and Ricardo Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, SC Amieira's goalkeeper Gabriel Castanheira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Almeida. Ricardo Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Castanheira having to interfere. After 23 played minutes SC Amieira got a freekick which was hit by Rui Gameiro. Ricardo Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Castanheira having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, SC Amieira's Jesualdo Freitas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jesualdo Freitas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Amieira protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jesualdo Freitas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 32nd minute, one of SC Amieira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Amieira. SC Amieira:s Gabriel Castanheira showed great skill when he stopped Jacinto Pires:s penalty. Nuno Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Castanheira having to interfere. Ricardo Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Castanheira having to interfere. In the 45th minute Rui Gameiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The corner ended in Jacinto Pires almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Amieira's Gabriel Castanheira did a great save. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Amieira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacinto Pires was slow to take the kick. During this time Malhadas's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Malhadas's Rodrigo Assunção to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Castanheira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Ricardo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Amieira's goalkeeper Gabriel Castanheira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Castanheira came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Malhadas's Ricardo Brás. But to his dismay, Ricardo Brás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 85th minute, Diamantino Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Malhadas booed when SC Amieira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino lacerda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Castanheira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Nuno Almeida scored 4-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Castanheira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malhadas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
