Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ricardo Marques got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Joaquim Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Trindade was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to SC Carrapateira getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eduardo Fonseca hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Viegas in the 10th minute of play forced SC Carrapateira's goalkeeper José Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Cabreiros FC's goalkeeper José Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Ribeiro. José Trindade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes SC Carrapateira got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Dias. Joaquim Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. José Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, SC Carrapateira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Melo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Marques in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Trindade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Torres struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. José Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabreiros FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Marques in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Trindade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the game, Cristiano Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Carrapateira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabreiros FC the free kick. After 40 played minutes SC Carrapateira got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Lopes. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ricardo Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Carrapateira's José Trindade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Marques scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Trindade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílcar Dias to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Melo during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Dias in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, SC Carrapateira's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Gomes came free, but José Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Heitor Viegas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Trindade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Torres got free with José Trindade in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Eduardo Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cabreiros FC's Emanuel Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Carrapateira's zone, Jorge Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Trindade came out of the goal and Jorge Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, SC Carrapateira's Amílcar Dias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Amílcar Dias got free in front of the goal in the 84th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. José Dias was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cabreiros FC's Catarino Morais got a free kick in the 87th minute. José Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. José Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Melo in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Ricardo Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Trindade. SC Carrapateira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of SC Carrapateira booed when Cabreiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cabreiros FC's José Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Dias in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Cabreiros FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Carrapateira.
