Heitor Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heitor Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Heitor Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Eusébio Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute, Humberto Sacadura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Cunha having to interfere. Sebastião Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Cunha having to interfere. Abel Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eusébio Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Acafora booed when SC Pinheiro de Loures was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Tomé didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Pinheiro de Loures's Eusébio Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Antunes in the 27th minute of play. If Abel Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Pinheiro de Loures's Eusébio Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Porto in the 41st minute of play. When Abel Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acafora's protests and gave Abel Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Acafora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Abel Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Cunha having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, Acafora's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Velasques came free, but Viriato Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Torres was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Acafora's Heitor Torres got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sebastião Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Cunha having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Porto got free with Eusébio Cunha in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodolfo Abrantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th match minute, Acafora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gueifão to maneuver through the defense.
