Barro's Vítor Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 9 in the game by Cesário Vilaça from a close distance when the talented Rui Castro managed to make a qualified save. Barro's players were relieved. When Kevin Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelezinhos Futebol Clube's protests and gave Kevin Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pelezinhos Futebol Clube's Kevin Teixeira got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Paredes in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubim Ávila saved Pelezinhos Futebol Clube from getting behind. Rubim Ávila didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Barro's Vítor Ferreira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When Alexandre Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Barro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Paredes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Barro getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jacinto Sousa hit a great ball. Kevin Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Severiano Madruga fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelezinhos Futebol Clube's protests and gave Severiano Madruga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, one of Pelezinhos Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pelezinhos Futebol Clube. Pelezinhos Futebol Clube:s Rubim Ávila showed great skill when he stopped Paulo Coelho:s penalty. After 43 played minutes Dário Sesimbra rounded Barro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. If Cesário Vilaça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 52 played minutes Barro got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Amaro. If Dário Sesimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alexandre Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Barro's Vítor Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubim Ávila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pelezinhos Futebol Clube's Rubim Ávila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Pelezinhos Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Vítor Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rubim Ávila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubim Ávila having to interfere. Alexandre Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Pelezinhos Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Ferreira came free, but Rubim Ávila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Barro's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Sesimbra came free, but Rui Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesário Vilaça in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Pelezinhos Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Madruga. Rubim Ávila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Alexandre Paredes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rubim Ávila firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 93rd match minute, Pelezinhos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Rubim Ávila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Ferreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubim Ávila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vítor Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. The Pelezinhos Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barro's performance. The match ended with a win for Barro.
