Severino Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Pinto in the 10th minute of the match. Delfim Pinto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 18 minutes into the game, Renato Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F. C. BRAVOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Alcarias the free kick. Renato Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Delfim Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F. C. BRAVOS's Severino Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save F. C. BRAVOS from getting a goal against them. BRAVOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Vasconcelos tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Severino Porto. After 73 played minutes, SC Alcarias's Filipe Setúbal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severino Porto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Alcarias reached it. 76 minutes into the match, SC Alcarias's goalkeeper Humberto Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Azevedo. When Delfim Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Alcarias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Pinto couldn't finish the play. After having played for 80 minutes, Adelino Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alcarias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adelino Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
