Daniel Valido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Miguel Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eagles's Daniel Valido, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Eagles. Moisés Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Igrejas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Valido, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Alfredo Setúbal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Covas's Miguel Almeida. Miguel Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Daniel Valido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Daniel Valido made the kick off in the second half. In the 80th minute Catarino Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Igrejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Nascimento scored 2-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Israel Igrejas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Covas's Simão Ferreira got a free kick in the 84th minute. Alfredo Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Covas's Miguel Almeida got control of the ball when Daniel Valido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Valido in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Daniel Valido came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Valido couldn't finish the play. The Covas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eagles were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
