Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bordalo's Catarino Castilho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Castilho in the 3rd minute of play. Bordalo's Higino Fraga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Bordalo from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Carvalhais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Catarino Castilho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cristiano Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Castilho took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Matos. Cristiano Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Bordalo booed when Albarraque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Higino Fraga managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Albarraque FC's Carlos Branco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristiano Câmara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Bordalo's Cristiano Câmara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristiano Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Basílio Ramos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Catarino Castilho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ricardo Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Bordalo got a freekick which was hit by Ilídio Faria. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Pinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ademar Carvalhais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Matos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Ramos during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Albarraque FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Ramos. In the 57th minute Catarino Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bordalo's Cristiano Câmara got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Catarino Castilho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Matos having to interfere. Carlos Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Higino Fraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bordalo's Higino Fraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Pinto in the 65th minute of play. Carlos Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Higino Fraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bordalo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ademar Carvalhais hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes, Albarraque FC's Manuel Henriques shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Higino Fraga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Albarraque FC reached it. Catarino Castilho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Matos having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Cristiano Matos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manuel Macedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Higino Fraga. Bordalo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raul Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Fraga having to interfere. In the 89th minute Catarino Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Cristiano Câmara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cristiano Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bordalo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
