Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gervásio Noronha started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Nicolau Vilela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leixões's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cannabiz FC the free kick. Caetano Fagundess short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Diogo Zarco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gervásio Noronha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Diogo Zarco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Fagundes got free with Diogo Zarco in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolau Vilela was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Leixões getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Inácio Curado hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Yuri Pimentel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerónimo Leal skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Hamilton Mourão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cannabiz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamilton Mourão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerónimo Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamilton Mourão in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Teodoro Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Hamilton Mourão notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Leixões's Jerónimo Leal. Jerónimo Leal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hamilton Mourão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herberto Candal's late challenge caught a Leixões's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herberto Candal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Cannabiz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herberto Candal to maneuver through the defense. Hamilton Mourão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jerónimo Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Fagundes struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Diogo Zarco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leixões. Amado Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 53rd minute, Inácio Curado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuri Pimentel, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Julião Neto took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerónimo Leal. Jerónimo Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jerónimo Leal made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Julião Neto sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Leixões's goal looked a bit too open when Hamilton Mourão came free, but Jerónimo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cannabiz FC's Julião Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cannabiz FC's zone, Inácio Curado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Zarco came out of the goal and Inácio Curado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 played minutes Cannabiz FC got a freekick which was hit by Herberto Candal. 73 minutes into the match, Julião Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerónimo Leal. Leixões's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julião Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Caetano Fagundes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julião Neto got free with Jerónimo Leal in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute Caetano Fagundes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Zarco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gervásio Noronha came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Leixões fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervásio Noronha couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cannabiz FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
