Mateus Mansilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azelha FC's Paulo Lage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Azelha FC from getting a goal against them. When Mateus Mansilha came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Azelha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Mansilha couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Tomás Viegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Pereira. SC Eivados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Viegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Carlos Assunção took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Lage. Paulo Lage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 26th match minute, Azelha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durval Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. SC Eivados's Amílcar Barbosa was responsible for 3-1 with a brilliant performance in the 38th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Paulo Lage. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Mateus Mansilha made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, SC Eivados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Baptista to maneuver through the defense. SC Eivados's Ricardo Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save SC Eivados from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Mateus Mansilha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Azelha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Aleixo came free, but Paulo Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Assunção struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Paulo Lage didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Eivados. In the 72nd minute Carlos Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Lage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Aleixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Bernardo Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Bernardo Aleixo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Eivados fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
