When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder Correia made a kick off. Albertino Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Valverde in the 54th minute of the match. Jairo Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hélder Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Grova's Jairo Meira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albertino Cruz. That made the score 0-5 after 70 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Albertino Cruz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Meira in the 81st minute of play forced sp covilhã's goalkeeper Albertino Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, sp covilhã's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Meira came free, but Albertino Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélder Correia struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Abel Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for sp covilhã. SC Grova's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
