Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Alvarenga started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Trindade in the 4th minute of play forced SC Murtinheira's goalkeeper Enzo Chagas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hélder Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rui Trindade struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Enzo Chagas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valpaco FC. If José Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Faria during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valpaco FC's Cláudio Faria got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, David Peixoto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valpaco FC's Adelino Cardoso didn't even have to move. Hélder Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Enzo Chagas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valpaco FC's Rui Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Murtinheira's Enzo Chagas got control of the ball when Rui Trindade tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Murtinheira's Hipólito Travassos got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hélder Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Enzo Chagas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Murtinheira's Enzo Chagas got control of the ball when Hugo Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. The goalkeeper, Enzo Chagas, was totally fooled by Valpaco FC's José Costa, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

SC Murtinheira's Enzo Chagas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Henriques in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to SC Murtinheira getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hipólito Travassos hit a great ball. Rui Trindade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Chagas having to make a save. Hélder Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Chagas having to interfere. Porfírio Palhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Alvarenga in the 64th minute of play forced Valpaco FC's goalkeeper Adelino Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Chagas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Valpaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Silva to maneuver through the defense. When José Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the SC Murtinheira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Adelino Cardoso came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Murtinheira's Porfírio Palhares. But to his dismay, Porfírio Palhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 79 minutes, Hélder Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valpaco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Henriques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hélder Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Enzo Chagas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Trindade in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Chagas saved SC Murtinheira from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, SC Murtinheira's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Trindade came free, but Enzo Chagas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Cardoso having to interfere. Hugo Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Valpaco FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Eusébio Maia hit a great ball. David Peixoto, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to SC Murtinheira getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Frederico Pádua hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Valpaco FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
