Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Esposado's Eliseu Porto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elias Sardinha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Trandeiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Porto came free, but Elias Sardinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SC Esposado's Aprígio Quadros got control of the ball when Leal Leitão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Leal Leitão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trandeiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leal Leitão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Francisco Espírito Santo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Esposado's protests and gave Francisco Espírito Santo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Francisco Espírito Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leal Leitão let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. In the 23rd minute, Afonso Carreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aprígio Quadros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rui Quintela showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, SC Esposado's goal looked a bit too open when Leal Leitão came free, but Aprígio Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aprígio Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Quintela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Esposado's Aprígio Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save SC Esposado from getting a goal against them. Jesualdo Leme might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Sardinha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesualdo Leme ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rui Quintela made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, SC Esposado's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Quintela came free, but Aprígio Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Leal Leitão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aprígio Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Trandeiras FC's goalkeeper Elias Sardinha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesualdo Leme. Baltasar Soveral hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Eliseu Porto got in the 75th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Elias Sardinha handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Eliseu Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Trandeiras FC's Rui Quintela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aprígio Quadros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Rui Quintela came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Trandeiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Quintela couldn't finish the play. Aprígio Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Quintela in the 87th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Geraldo Peralta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Esposado and the Trandeiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trandeiras FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Esposado for a fine match.
