Marcos Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Porto in the 35th minute of the match. If Rui Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tank Boys FC's Murilo Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 53 played minutes SC Esposado got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Espírito Santo. The audience was convinced that Murilo Braga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aprígio Quadros was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
