Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aquilino Santiago started the match with the kick off. Porfírio Póvoas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Santiago's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. CF Gouveiense's Porfírio Póvoas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Santiago in the 4th minute of play. Egídio Meira hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Laureano Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Panda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aquilino Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Porfírio Póvoas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, CF Gouveiense's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Quadros came free, but Porfírio Póvoas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as CF Gouveiense's Osvaldo Rios slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valter Loureiro. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Osvaldo Rios's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Valter Loureiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aquilino Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Porfírio Póvoas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, S.C. Panda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Santiago to maneuver through the defense.

Osvaldo Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Valter Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CF Gouveiense's Valentim Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Laureano Quadros could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Porfírio Póvoas however easily saved by the left post. S.C. Panda were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after CF Gouveiense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nuno Tomé took the corner. Valter Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentim Campos's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. If Laureano Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentim Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Loureiro having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, S.C. Panda's goal looked a bit too open when Valentim Campos came free, but Valter Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Furtado during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CF Gouveiense! Aquilino Santiago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Porfírio Póvoas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When Osvaldo Rios came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the CF Gouveiense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Rios couldn't finish the play.
