The nice shot from Álvaro Aires in the 19thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Adélio Caneira had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. SC Borbolega's Adélio Caneira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SC Borbolega from getting a goal against them. Jaime Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Xavier Barcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavier Barcelos to strike the kick off in the second half. Gualter Telinhos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Rangel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 97 played minutes, Nobar FC's Aprígio Soares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adélio Caneira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nobar FC reached it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
