Amílcar Veríssimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ega FC's André Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ega FC from getting a goal against them. The corner led to Fragoas FC's Murilo Lessa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 29th minute, Hugo Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Fabrício Raminhos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fragoas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Raminhos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amílcar Veríssimos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got André Antunes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Amílcar Veríssimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fragoas FC booed when Ega FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes in the game Augusto Coelho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Viriato Moreira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Leiria in the 45th minute of play forced Fragoas FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fragoas FC's zone, Cristóvão Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Rocha came out of the goal and Cristóvão Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Cristóvão Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 53 minutes, Amílcar Veríssimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. André Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fragoas FC's Alfredo Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Fragoas FC from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Rocha made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Viriato Moreira sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ega FC's goalkeeper André Antunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Amílcar Veríssimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Leiria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Rocha. Cristóvão Leiria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Amílcar Veríssimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Antunes having to interfere. Guilherme Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. André Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fragoas FC. The audience was convinced that Amílcar Veríssimo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Antunes was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Murilo Lessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. André Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fragoas FC fully deserved thier win.
