Samuel Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Anjos having to interfere. Rubim Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Maltez having to interfere. A collision led to TIGER TEAM getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Amado Ruas hit a great ball. If Benedito Azenha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedito Azenha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Maltez having to interfere. If Isidro Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Norberto Sobral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Anjos. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in TIGER TEAM's zone, Rubim Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Maltez came out of the goal and Rubim Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Azenha in the 38th minute of play forced TIGER TEAM's goalkeeper Júlio Maltez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Cidadelhe getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pedro Brandão hit a great ball. Xavier Brites, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 43 minutes into the match, SC Cidadelhe's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Sobral came free, but Daniel Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Samuel Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júlio Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubim Aguiar in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedito Azenha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Benedito Azenha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júlio Maltez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedito Azenha's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The supporters of SC Cidadelhe booed when TIGER TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Ruas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Rubim Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cidadelhe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubim Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Pimenta in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Anjos saved SC Cidadelhe from getting behind. Altino Lobato hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Norberto Sobral took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Anjos. Daniel Anjos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Vicente Fagundes's late challenge caught a TIGER TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Fagundes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Vicente Fagundes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of TIGER TEAM booed when SC Cidadelhe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Lucena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedito Azenha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The TIGER TEAM players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
