Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Bento got the match started through his kick off. After 3rd play minutes Vítor Luz shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Lucas Moniz and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Cerca FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cristiano Freitas hit a great ball. Diego Bento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Resende having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Queirós in the 15th minute of play forced Samel FC's goalkeeper Lucas Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Rui Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Moniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Rui Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Porto in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, Vítor Luz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucas Moniz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Samel FC's Jerónimo Brandão got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ricardo Moura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Moniz. Samel FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Samel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerónimo Brandão to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Lucas Moniz made a huge save. When Vítor Luz came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Cerca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Luz couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sebastião Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Queirós made a kick off. In the 57th minute Vítor Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Vítor Luz sped through Samel FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Moniz. When Carlos Matias fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerca FC's protests and gave Carlos Matias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cerca FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Carlos Matias hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Nuno Quental hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes Samel FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardo Moura who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cerca FC's Bruno Domingues to a score. 3-0 in the 71st minute. Lucas Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Luz in the 78th minute of play. Rui Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Moniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Queirós in the 88th minute of play.
