Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Cunha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bento Araújo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Pinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Éder Santos during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of C A MOLELOS booed when Assencada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Éder Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Assencada's Vítor Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Cunha in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C A MOLELOS's Manuel Jesus got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Caeiro in the 32nd minute of play forced C A MOLELOS's goalkeeper Alexandre Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Moutinho in the 34th minute of play. Alexandre Gueifão hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Assencada's Éder Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bento Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bento Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Bento Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Caeiro made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Pinto having to interfere. Assencada's Vítor Pinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Assencada from getting a goal against them. If Jorge Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the game, Jorge Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C A MOLELOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assencada the free kick. Jorge Cunha hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jorge Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Pinto stood somewhat misplaced when Jorge Cunha came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 75 minute. Jorge Cunha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Vítor Pinto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 80th match minute, C A MOLELOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Valente to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Assencada's Rodolfo Caeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 87 played minutes Assencada got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Mendonça. 88 minutes into the match, Assencada's goalkeeper Vítor Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bento Araújo. Cristóvão Paredes's late challenge caught a Assencada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes C A MOLELOS got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Paredes. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
