Dimas Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Dimas Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evandro Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Correia having to interfere. SC Baldio's Miguel Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vila das Águias FC's Mateus Estrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Melo in the 27th minute of play. Eduardo Nogueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mateus Estrada. Vila das Águias FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Romão Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Correia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Melo in the 46th minute of play forced Vila das Águias FC's goalkeeper Mateus Estrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Romão Machados short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Armindo Correia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Vila das Águias FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
