Márcio Laureano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Curado, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Cassiano Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SCMontijo's Márcio Laureano got control of the ball when Cassiano Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Cássio Gentil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SLBenfica74's Patrício Caiado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Márcio Laureano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Curado, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Valentim Curado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Márcio Laureano. Valentim Curado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Valentim Curado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Márcio Laureano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, SLBenfica74's Cassiano Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio Laureano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Márcio Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentim Curado in the 27th minute of the match. Márcio Laureano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Curado in the 29th minute of play. Cassiano Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Laureano having to interfere. Cassiano Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Márcio Laureano made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Valentim Curado managed to get in a good position for a shot. SLBenfica74's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentim Curado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio Laureano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SCMontijo's Márcio Laureano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Curado in the 39th minute of play.

The wind increased when Cássio Gentil made the kick off in the second half. If Cassiano Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SCMontijo's zone, Valentim Curado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio Laureano came out of the goal and Valentim Curado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentim Curado in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márcio Laureano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Márcio Laureano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassiano Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, SLBenfica74's Valentim Curado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio Laureano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassiano Fonseca in the 69th minute of play forced SCMontijo's goalkeeper Márcio Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Miguéis struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Patrício Caiado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCMontijo. In the 76thth minute of the game Cassiano Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SCMontijo's Márcio Laureano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th match minute, SCMontijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Gentil to maneuver through the defense. When Gonçalo Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SLBenfica74's protests and gave Gonçalo Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. Cássio Gentil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SLBenfica74 fans cheered their team off the field, for while SCMontijo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
