Gustavo Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. João Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Antela's zone, Gustavo Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Coelho came out of the goal and Gustavo Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Gustavo Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Reis during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, SC Antela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Reis to maneuver through the defense. André Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Moutinho having to interfere. Joel Lima hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes, SC Antela's Daniel Domingues shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Moutinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Antela reached it. Gustavo Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. João Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, SC Antela's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Sousa came free, but João Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Sousa in the 41st minute of play forced SC Antela's goalkeeper João Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Leão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Coelho having to make a save. Gustavo Leão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Raul Garcia put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rafael Moutinho. Gustavo Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Coelho having to interfere. If Gustavo Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Moutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Garcia went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, André Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Antela's supporters rose to their feet, but André Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Moutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Garcia in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Moutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Aguiar in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Moutinho saved Gavinheira from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Gavinheira's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Garcia came free, but Rafael Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Antela fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gavinheira had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
