Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aprígio Soveral took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roberto Malafaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomé Semedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Caires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aprígio Soveral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aprígio Soveral in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Caires saved Fiais FC from getting behind. The supporters of Abambres booed when Fiais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Semedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Fiais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aprígio Soveral came free, but Fábio Caires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aprígio Soveral in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Caires saved Fiais FC from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Fiais FC's Domingos Noronha threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roberto Malafaia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Domingos Noronha was a little too slow when Roberto Malafaia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 43rd minute of the match Quintino Reis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fábio Caires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Timóteo Trigueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Malafaia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Aprígio Soveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Caires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Fiais FC's Fábio Caires got control of the ball when Timóteo Trigueiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domingos Noronha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Semedo in the 68th minute of the match. If Timóteo Trigueiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Severiano kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Aprígio Soveral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Malafaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Noronha having to interfere. Idalécio Caiado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Caires having to interfere.
