Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Pinho got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Motrinos's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Paiva came free, but Jaime Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Parcerias's Adelino Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Tavares having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Motrinos got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Vale. In the 18thth minute of the game Alberto Guarda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motrinos's Jaime Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SC Parcerias getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. José Borba hit a great ball. If Pedro Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Tavares having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Motrinos got a freekick which was hit by David Barros. After 34 minutes, Hugo Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Motrinos and the SC Parcerias players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hugo Vale hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. SC Parcerias's Lucas Setúbal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Motrinos. After 36 played minutes Motrinos got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Vale. In the 39th minute SC Parcerias were awarded a corner. Lucas Setúbal went to the cornerflag to take it. Paulo Bessa's late challenge caught a Motrinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Bessa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, SC Parcerias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Bessa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Pedro Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motrinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adelino Paiva to make the kick off. Paulo Bessa was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, SC Parcerias's Paulo Bessa got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 57 played minutes SC Parcerias got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Vieira. After recieving a nice pass, Motrinos's Artur Dantas tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jaime Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Guarda in the 63rd minute. Hugo Vale was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of SC Parcerias booed when Motrinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Alberto Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adolfo Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Parcerias's protests and gave Adolfo Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Vieira hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. SC Parcerias's Armando Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Barros in the 75th minute of play. If Eduardo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Vieira got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Adolfo Vieira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Parcerias's zone, Eduardo Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Rodrigues came out of the goal and Eduardo Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Eduardo Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SC Parcerias supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Parcerias would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
