Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sebastião Macedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sebastião Macedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Bernardes came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastião Macedo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Lucas Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Bernardes having to make a save. In the 12th minute, Sebastião Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Mariano Bernardes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Lisboa e Benfica from getting a goal against them. After having played for 15 minutes, Sebastião Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magarelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bento Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Lisboa e Benfica's protests and gave Bento Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Magarelas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Manuel Monteiro hit a great ball. Vítor Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sanches in the 24th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Mariano Bernardes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Baptista. If Rui Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Bragança received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Vítor Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, one of Magarelas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Sanches to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sebastião Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Bernardes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Manuel Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Bernardes having to interfere. If Lucas Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes, Jorge Infante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Lisboa e Benfica and the Magarelas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Infante kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Sport Lisboa e Benfica were awarded a corner. Lucílio Cabral went to the cornerflag to take it. Sport Lisboa e Benfica were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Magarelas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucílio Cabral took the corner. The corner led Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Lucílio Cabral to fire away a dangerous shot which Vítor Pereira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lucas Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Bragança struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Vítor Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Lisboa e Benfica. Lucas Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Lisboa e Benfica's zone, Lucas Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Bernardes came out of the goal and Lucas Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sanches in the 88th minute of play. Lucas Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Bernardes having to interfere. When Jorge Infante was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. A collision led to Sport Lisboa e Benfica getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jorge Infante hit a great ball. Magarelas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
