Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquim Pacheco got the match started through his kick off. Sebastião Resende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Calado in the 5th minute. Sebastião Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesário Sanches in the 6th minute of play. Joaquim Pacheco took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lourenço Monsanto. Lourenço Monsanto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If José Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Germano Gusmão fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magarelas FC's protests and gave Germano Gusmão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Germano Gusmão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Lourenço Monsanto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCPorto. José Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Monsanto having to interfere. Valdemar Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sebastião Resende made a huge save. Sebastião Resende came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Magarelas FC's Cesário Sanches. But to his dismay, Cesário Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 28th minute Amílcar Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Monsanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Valdemar Aires fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magarelas FC's protests and gave Valdemar Aires a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Magarelas FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sebastião Resende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesário Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Valdemar Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Valdemar Aires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Resende was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. José Gueifão might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lourenço Monsanto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Gueifão ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesário Sanches was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Valdemar Aires notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FCPorto's Sebastião Resende. Sebastião Resende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rui Reis's late challenge caught a Magarelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Reis helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 minutes, Joaquim Pacheco made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Magarelas FC's Lourenço Monsanto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute, Evandro Calado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magarelas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 73 minutes into the match, Evandro Calado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Resende. FCPorto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Calado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 78th minute, José Gueifão fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lourenço Monsanto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Menezes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesário Sanches in the 95th minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Sebastião Resende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magarelas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
