An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Almiro Soeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Joaquim Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Landim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Salvador Anjos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Bestida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Landim the free kick. A collision led to SC Bestida getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Salvador Anjos hit a great ball. Joaquim Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zeferino Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeferino Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Delgado in the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Bento Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Landim's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeferino Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeferino Vides was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cândido Queirós. Bento Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeferino Vides having to interfere. Joaquim Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zeferino Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Bento Ramos rounded SC Bestida's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Zeferino Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Landim's Bento Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Bestida's Zeferino Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save SC Bestida from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
