Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marco Maia got the match started through his kick off. Rodrigo Figueiredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Alves having to make a save. Renato Macieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastião Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Renato Macieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Marco Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Macieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Arao's Rodrigo Figueiredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gentil Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gentil Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Gentil Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Alquera's Marco Maia got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alquera's zone, Marcos Barata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Alves came out of the goal and Marcos Barata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Renato Macieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Maia in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renato Macieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Marcos Barata made the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Albertino Borges got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Renato Macieira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee gave Alquera a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albertino Borges, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arao's Renato Macieira. 1-2. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rodrigo Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alquera's Alfredo Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arao's Renato Macieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Maia in the 79th minute of play. When Marco Maia came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Alquera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Maia couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Arao's goalkeeper Renato Macieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Delgado.
