Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Azevedo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renato Macieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldo Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Figueiredo in the 8th minute of play. Arao's Marcos Barata got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Arao's Marcos Barata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Marinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Figueiredo in the 16th minute of play forced Colos FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Barata in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Marcos Barata sped through Colos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronaldo Marinho. 30 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renato Macieira. Arao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóvão Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marcos Barata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Marinho having to interfere. Cristóvão Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Barata made a kick off. Ronaldo Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Barata, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Colos FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ricardo Mascarenhas hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Colos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Mascarenhas to maneuver through the defense. If Cristóvão Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Marcos Manso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Colos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Mascarenhas to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Arao got a corner. Colos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Sabrosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Colos FC's Germano Leal got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes of play, Colos FC's Germano Leal made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renato Macieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Arao for a fine match.
