Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pedro Moura made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that David Cabral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Ferro was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the game, Luís Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caravelas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocos the free kick. Luís Matos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Pocos's Eusébio Brito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 12 played minutes Caravelas got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Viegas. Rui Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Caravelas's Pedro Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Gonçalo Rocha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Pedro Moura came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Caravelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Moura couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes, Pocos's Joaquim Assunção shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristiano Ferro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pocos reached it. Cristiano Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Brito in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Paulo Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caravelas's Cristiano Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Brito in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Paulo Andrade made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pocos's Gonçalo Rocha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Caravelas's goal looked a bit too open when David Cabral came free, but Cristiano Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Cabral was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Rogério Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Cabral in the 59th minute of play. If Vítor Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, David Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Pocos defense, Pedro Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonçalo Rocha. The Pocos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo Rocha should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Pedro Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Ferro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pedro Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Rocha having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Caravelas could leave the field as winners, despite Pocos having more of the ball for most of the match.
