SC Correias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Rodeios the free kick. Albérico Cesário kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Albérico Cesário fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Branco having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, SC Correias's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Viegas came free, but Eusébio Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albérico Cesário got free with Paulo Branco in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Silvano Salvado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Correias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Rodeios the free kick. In the 26th match minute, SC Correias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Salvado to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes SC Rodeios got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Barros. Paulo Branco made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Albérico Cesário sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, SC Rodeios's goalkeeper Paulo Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albérico Cesário. 44 minutes into the match, SC Rodeios's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Zambujal came free, but Paulo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Pedro Fontes made the kick off in the second half. António Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a long run with the ball, António Regalado did a trick in the 54th minute in front of SC Rodeios's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-0. An impressive performance by SC Correias's António Regalado! After 56 minutes, Marcelo Manso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Correias and the SC Rodeios players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes SC Correias got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Manso. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Fontes during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Rodeios booed when SC Correias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albérico Cesário didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvério Zambujal might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvério Zambujal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th match minute, SC Rodeios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Araújo to maneuver through the defense. SC Rodeios's Paulo Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albérico Cesário in the 76th minute of play. Eusébio Leme made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Abel Viegas sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albérico Cesário in the 84th minute of the match. Albérico Cesário recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
