Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sérgio Santos kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Santos in the 3rd minute of play forced F.C. PaLaS's goalkeeper João Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. PaLaS's João Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pereira in the 14th minute of play. Adolfo Soares's late challenge caught a SC Feirense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Soares helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes F.C. PaLaS got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Soares. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Trindade during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes SC Feirense got a freekick which was hit by Artur Trindade. Filipe Fernandes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Adolfo Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. PaLaS's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carsten Geenen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Feirense's Filipe Fernandes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Adolfo Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten Geenen having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Artur Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Egídio Palhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. PaLaS's supporters rose to their feet, but Egídio Palhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carsten Geenen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

João Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Trindade in the 53rd minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, SC Feirense's Sérgio Santos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute Adolfo Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsten Geenen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten Geenen having to interfere. In the 78th minute, one of F.C. PaLaS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. PaLaS. In the 85th minute, Claudemiro Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Feirense's zone, André Bulhosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsten Geenen came out of the goal and André Bulhosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carsten Geenen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Bulhosa went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Santos in the 98th minute of play forced F.C. PaLaS's goalkeeper João Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Feirense were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over F.C. PaLaS's much stronger midfield.
