Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alexandre Sales took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Castanhadas de Amor's zone, Nuno Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascoal Vilela came out of the goal and Nuno Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Castanhadas de Amor's Pascoal Vilela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Dantas in the 9th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Dantas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pascoal Vilela. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. The supporters of Brotas booed when Castanhadas de Amor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Calçada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascoal Vilela having to interfere. Nuno Matoss short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Pascoal Vilela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 2-0 became the score in the 25th minute when Bruno Dantas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pascoal Vilela made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Nuno Matos sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Silvestre Malafaia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brotas's António Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Malafaia in the 36th minute of play. When Nuno Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brotas's protests and gave Nuno Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Castanhadas de Amor booed when Brotas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Castanhadas de Amor's Santiago Faria tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes, Brotas's João Teixeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pascoal Vilela came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brotas reached it. In the 46th minute, one of Castanhadas de Amor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Castanhadas de Amor. Castanhadas de Amor:s Pascoal Vilela showed great skill when he stopped Jorge Alves:s penalty. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When Pedro Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brotas's protests and gave Pedro Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Abreu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Bruno Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pascoal Vilela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascoal Vilela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Dantas in the 63rd minute of play. Pascoal Vilela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascoal Vilela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Dantas in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascoal Vilela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Castanhadas de Amor's Silvestre Malafaia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Castanhadas de Amor getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Leandro Chagas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Dantas in the 87th minute of play forced Castanhadas de Amor's goalkeeper Pascoal Vilela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Castanhadas de Amor's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Matos came free, but Pascoal Vilela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Pascoal Vilela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nuno Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brotas had played much better football throughout.
