Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Palmazes's Paulo Aguiar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Júlio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Pinho in the 5th minute of play forced Black Angels's goalkeeper Mariano Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Duarte Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Black Angels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Garcia couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Palmazes defense, Duarte Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Vaz. The Palmazes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Vaz should have stopped the shot. If Duarte Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Black Angels's Mariano Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Black Angels from getting a goal against them. Nuno Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Rafael Borges from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Mariano Mendes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 37 played minutes Palmazes got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Amorim. In the 47th minute Nuno Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Black Angels were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Garcia to make the kick off. Black Angels's Nuno Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Branco struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Júlio Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Angels. Mariano Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Aguiar in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Black Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Amílcar Andrade came free, but Mariano Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Aguiar in the 59th minute of the match. Mariano Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Palmazes's Júlio Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Palmazes from getting a goal against them. Duarte Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Júlio Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Palmazes's David Pinho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Black Angels booed when Palmazes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Vaz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Duarte Garcia succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Amílcar Andrade scored 1-4 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Mendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Black Angels could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Palmazes throughout the match.
