The audience thought a goal was coming when Óscar Coimbra got free with Sauli Laaksonen in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sauli Laaksonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Óscar Coimbra in the 13th minute. In the 17th match minute, Montreux FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Sauli Laaksonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Coimbra in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Fc Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Fc Imortal's Sauli Laaksonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Fc Imortal from getting a goal against them.

In the 72nd minute, Haroldo Montay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Fc Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fc Imortal's Fabrício Negri got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ricardo Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sauli Laaksonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Pinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Henriques having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Montreux FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
