The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Aleixo during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Rafael Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Mendes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Tagilde's Armindo Sousa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Rafael Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Amaro took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Mendes. Paulo Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 minutes, Joel Jesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Tagilde and the Angeja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes SC Tagilde got a freekick which was hit by Joel Jesus. Daniel Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Alexandre Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Manuel Lisboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Azevedo in the 43rd minute of play. Daniel Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Manuel Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Alexandre Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Amaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Mendes having to make a save. In the 60th match minute, SC Tagilde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Mendes was a little too slow when Rafael Amaro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. Rafael Amaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Amaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Vítor Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Paulo Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Alexandre Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tagilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, SC Tagilde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Jesus to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Manuel Lisboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tagilde. The SC Tagilde supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Angeja's performance. The match ended with a win for Angeja.
